I haven’t been writing the last two days because the family took me with them to a trip to Hambantota, where Thushans wife had to work in the hospital on Wednesday. While she was doing that, the rest of us had a little safari tour through the Bundala National Park.
After we had spend the night in Watselas hospital appartment (which made me feel bad as I got one of the two beds and my own room while the rest of the family slept on floormatts in the other room) we visited a botanical garden and a Safaripark (non native animals).
The trip was quite long and the trip back even longer (as the kids were awake on the WHOLE trip back and I was sharing the backseat with the two older ones 😉
So I am quite tired now but pictures will follow.

Dear Anja – thanks for the updates. Sounds like things are going well so far. Travelling in the back seat with kids must have been fun – at least you had a good night’s sleep in your temporary room!
